Hope
Hope embraces a feeling of expectation and a desire for something that has not yet been received. Hope is also a very powerful motivator that can be used to encourage people and to help them think positively in difficult circumstances. We are aware that many individuals, and even whole communities, have lost hope in their ability to see a change in their health or circumstances and so they feel trapped and unable to escape. Hopelessness quickly descends.
Through our work we seek to bring hope to people and offer them opportunities to change their circumstances and improve their lives.
Citadel
A citadel is a fortress overlooking a town for its protection. In ancient times it served as a place to run to for safety, a place of last defence. They were securely built refuges which encompasses the type of place that we would like our organisation to be.
