Hope Citadel Healthcare CIC was set up with the aim of providing NHS services to those in under-doctored and deprived areas. Aiming to deliver the best possible care where the whole person and family are at the centre. We currently provide services in four centres across Greater Manchester offering a mixture of traditional GP service and walk in service.
Our Distinctives:
- We are a social enterprise which means that all surplus money is re-invested in our services for patients. Last year we chose to invest our surplus money in employing counsellors which are availiable to our patients and community nursing to support families and individuals with complex situations.
- We aim to provide whole person healthcare by using our skills to help people whether it is physical, psychological, social, emotional or spiritual needs.
- We believe that healthcare can be pivotal in changing individuals, families and communities. We believe that inequality can be reversed and change brought in.
- We work with others to offer activities that support health and wellbeing for example boogie babies- a singing group for mums and toddlers, Inspire group offering arts, crafts and friendship.
The founders hold a deep christian faith which inspired and continues to inspire the formation of this organisation. Values of compassion, hope and transformation are cornerstones of the organisation.
